Hockhocking Adena Bikeway… What a great ride!

Labor day was beautiful! We took a journey down to Nelsonville to ride the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway. We met up with 4 other riders at the Rocky Boots store in Nelsonville. We rode the trail down to The Plains where we stopped for a break at Heaven’s Oven, a quaint little bakery/restaurant just off the bike path, about 10 miles from our starting point. After some refreshments, two of our riders headed back for an appointment, while the rest of us continued on to Hocking College. There, two riders stayed (because it was their starting point) and Susan & I headed back towards Nelsonville. We decided to stop again at Heaven’s Oven for lunch. On this stop we met Bee, the owner, and Liz, Bee’s helper. We had a nice lunch, thanked Bee & Liz for their hospitality, & returned back to our starting point at Rocky Boots. The ride made a great impression on us! We’ve decided to go back again on September 26th. We will shoot an email out when we have more details. If you are not on our email list, please let us know…
